Developer Onboarding

The Onboarding module lets platform teams define structured checklists for new developers and track their completion progress.

Templates​

Platform admins create onboarding templates — named collections of checklist items. Examples:

  • "Backend Engineer Onboarding"
  • "On-Call Runbook Setup"
  • "New Service Launch Checklist"

Each template contains ordered checklist items with a title and optional description.

Assigning a checklist​

Admins assign a template to a user. This creates a personal checklist instance for that user, visible in their My Checklists view.

Completing items​

Users toggle individual items as they complete them. Progress is shown as a percentage bar. Admins can view all active checklists and see who is blocked or falling behind.

My Checklists​

Developers see only their own assigned checklists. Each checklist shows overall progress and the list of items with a checkbox to mark each done.
